Position Description

Be the first point of call for clients’ electronic trades and responsible for updating and advising execution and trading strategies.

Work with Development and Quant teams to optimize existing models and improve trading strategies.

Synergize Trading flows across various equity trading desks, package and distribute to CITIC CLSA’s institutional clients.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Monitor client trades across 13 equity markets in Asia.

  • Monitor and prepare reports as they relate to changes in client flows vs Macro Themes.

  • Prepare updates on news and market events for clients and team members

  • Be the first point of call for clients’ electronic trades and responsible for updating and advising execution and trading strategies.

  • Take up client account management as LT key relationship manager.

  • Work with the Execution Quant team to compile client Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) reports for execution consultancy

  • Handle client on-boarding process and deal with client requests

  • Participate in system improvement and provide performance feedback to Algo Development team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics or a related discipline

  • Graduate / 1 years’ experience in equity trading / operation / IT related role preferred.

  • Passion for Equity Trading and Macroeconomics.

  • Able to deal with numbers and solve problems in an analytical and efficient manner. Quantitative skill set would be a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player.

  • Detail orientated and able to handle multiple tasks under time pressure.

  • Strong command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin
