About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Air/Ocean Operations Executive to manage and coordinate international air and sea freight operations. The role is critical in ensuring shipments move efficiently, compliantly, and on time while delivering excellent service to customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end air and ocean import/export operations, including FCL, LCL, AIR, and cross-trade shipments
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation such as BL, AWB, invoice, packing list, COO, and customs documents
  • Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, agents, transporters, and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment execution
  • Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade compliance, and internal SOPs
  • Handle rate verification, billing, and cost control
  • Resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records in operations systems (e.g., CargoWise or similar)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team
Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related fields
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in air and/or ocean freight operations (freight forwarding environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms
  • Familiarity with customs clearance processes is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with CargoWise is an added advantage
