Job Summary

The ACMV Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning and maintenance of Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems for building and facilities projects. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, clients and internal teams to ensure ACMV works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and in compliance with project specifications, statutory requirements and relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, review and manage ACMV/HVAC systems for building and facilities projects.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and other engineering disciplines.
  • Oversee ACMV installation, testing and commissioning works.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, cost and technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot ACMV issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
  • Ensure systems comply with safety, energy efficiency, statutory and environmental requirements.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities where required.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates and project documentation.
  • Attend site and technical meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in ACMV/HVAC design, project management, installation or facilities management.
  • Good knowledge of ACMV systems, including chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems and controls.
  • Familiarity with relevant Singapore codes, standards and statutory requirements.
