The OpportunityWe're looking for a passionate AI Research Engineering Intern to join our cutting-edge AI Research Team in LA, Toronto or Singapore. In this role, you'll work on advanced topics in generative AI, multimodal learning, and intelligent content interaction. This is a rare opportunity to bridge academic research with real-world impact and contribute to tools that redefine the future of video creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and prototype state-of-the-art generative models for video and avatar generation.
- Design and implement algorithms for real-time video generation and multimodal interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research into HeyGen’s core platform.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI.
We’re looking for standout candidates with a proven ability to drive results in the field of AI. You should bring both academic rigor and real-world execution, with a focus on building impactful AI systems.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning and generative models (GANs, diffusion, transformers, etc.) applied to video or image generation.
- Demonstrated research excellence, including top-tier publications (e.g., CVPR, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML).
- Hands-on experience in applied AI research.
- Mentorship from top experts in AI and generative modeling.
- Real-world impact through contributions to widely-used products.
- A fast-paced, collaborative environment at the forefront of innovation.
- Potential pathway to a full-time role based on performance.
