About the APAC Foundational Products Squad (FPS)
 

The APAC Foundational Products Squad (FPS) is a regional team that connects and empowers Roche affiliates across Asia-Pacific — from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Taiwan, and beyond.
 

Our mission is to unlock the full potential of Roche’s late life-cycle and established medicines, ensuring that they continue to deliver impact for patients, healthcare systems, and communities. While affiliates focus on early-life-cycle innovations, the FPS enables affiliates to gain a competitive advantage for established medicines — driving access, relevance, and sustainability in diverse and evolving healthcare landscapes.
 

Working in FPS means being part of an agile, cross-functional squad model. We collaborate across markets and with regional/global partners to:

  • Innovate with purpose, experimenting with digital tools, AI, and new ways of engagement.

  • Drive operational excellence, ensuring the squad can operate independently with high efficiency with the insights, tools, and processes they need.

  • Deliver on business leveraging new Go to Market model
     

For this internship, FPS offers a rare opportunity to work regionally, gain exposure to multiple healthcare systems, and see how insights and innovations scale across countries. Every project you take on will connect directly to real-world impact for patients in Asia-Pacific.

AI & Market Insights Intern
 

About the Role:
As our AI & Market Insights Intern, you’ll explore how cutting-edge AI can be harnessed to generate powerful insights that shape the way we understand patients, customers, and healthcare systems across Asia-Pacific. You’ll also experiment with AI-driven content creation, pushing the boundaries of innovation in communication and engagement — all within the dynamic Roche FPS context.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the FPS team to pilot AI applications for market, customer, and patient insights (aligned with Roche’s purpose of “Doing now what patients need next”).

  • Experiment with AI-powered content creation (e.g., avatar training modules, personalized communications, generative storytelling) to support affiliates in their engagement efforts.

  • Explore and test emerging AI tools (e.g., NotebookLM for partner support, AI copilots) and recommend applications for regional teams.

  • (Timing dependent) Support the rollout of our new HCP portal (EHE), collaborating with FPS members and affiliates to shape content and optimize engagement.

  • Bring fresh thinking and ideas to how Roche can innovate in healthcare engagement across diverse APAC markets.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3rd or 4th year student in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Communications, or related fields.

  • Curious about AI and digital transformation, with strong creative problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable experimenting with new tech, learning fast, and thinking big.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multicultural teams.
