Job Description
Rockwell Automation is looking for an AI Engineer within the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) AI Centre of Excellence in Singapore. The AI Engineer will develop Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions. These solutions will deliver measurable value across supply chain operations.
You will manage solutions end‑to‑end for defined use cases and apply technical judgement to ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and adopted in production.
You will report to Senior Director in Digital Transformation based in US.
Your Responsibilities:- GenAI Solution Ownership
- You will Design GenAI applications, including RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, and agent‑based workflows, with supporting Python automation.
- Select appropriate models, tools, and frameworks based on quality, latency, cost, and security requirements.
- You will own solutions from design through production deployment for assigned use cases spanning document intelligence, knowledge assistants, and process automation.
- Architecture & Quality
- Define solution architectures aligned with Rockwell's Azure AI platform standards, enterprise guardrails, and ISC data governance requirements.
- Establish best practices for prompt design, evaluation, testing, and versioning across a shared service delivery model.
- Ensure solutions meet reliability, scalability, and maintainability expectations across custom Python services, Azure‑hosted components, and low‑code integrations.
- Operations and Adoption
- Implement automated build, test, deployment, monitoring, and feedback practices for solutions running in Microsoft‑centric enterprise environments.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, gather structured feedback, and incorporate operational signals to improve solution quality and improve adoption.
- Ensure compliance with Rockwell AI policies, risk controls, and data handling standards throughout development and deployment.
- Collaboration & Enablement
- You will work with the ISC AI COE lead and senior partners to receive use case context, validate technical approaches, and agree on priorities.
- Coordinate testing cycles and feedback loops with our users to validate solution behaviour and surface improvement opportunities.
- You will promote low‑code/no‑code practitioners and business SMEs to use GenAI‑powered tools and automated workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or applied data systems.
- Python proficiency with experience building production‑grade services and automation pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience designing and deploying GenAI / LLM‑based applications.
- Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and GenAI evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with Azure AI services and cloud‑native deployment patterns.
- Experience integrating solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Graph API in enterprise environments.
- Identified automation opportunities and delivered scripted and workflow‑based solutions using AI tools.
- Collaborated effectively within structured delivery models and cross‑functional technical teams.
