The Accounts Executive manages accounting functions, processes transactions, ensures timely payments, facilitates month-end activities, and supports compliance with regulations.
The Accounts Executive will play a crucial role in the Finance team, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring meticulous and timely processing of financial transactions, and facilitating month-end closing activities to support the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable (AP) functions
- Process invoices, staff reimbursements, and payments accurately within deadlines
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Responding to vendor inquiries and providing payment status updates.
- Aid in month-end and year-end closing activities including preparation of journal entries
- Support compliance with statutory requirements such as audit and tax filings
- Maintain systematic filing of accounting documentation and records
- Collaborate with the finance team on ad-hoc tasks as necessary
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player with the ability to work independently
