As an Accounting & Finance Analyst in Chase Travel, you will support the accuracy and completeness of transactional accounting data flowing from multiple booking sources into our back-office accounting platform. You'll work within established controls and procedures to deliver recurring reporting, reconciliation support, and issue investigation — while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and audit readiness.

Job responsibilities

  • Support integration of transactional data feeds into back-office accounting systems by completing completeness and accuracy checks and escalating exceptions appropriately
  • Perform recurring reporting activities, including compiling data, validating totals, and distributing reports on schedule with consistent definitions and clear documentation
  • Assist with transactional break investigation by gathering evidence, performing preliminary analysis, documenting findings, and tracking follow-ups to closure
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities under established timelines, including journal entry support and balance sheet account substantiation and reconciliation; identify and escalate unusual items or variances
  • Partner with Account Management, Technology, Operations, and Finance to obtain inputs needed to complete deliverables and resolve routine issues
  • Support testing activities for system or product changes by executing test cases, documenting results, collecting evidence, and tracking defects for follow-up
  • Maintain process documentation, including desk procedures, checklists, and controls evidence, to support audit readiness and consistent execution
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying recurring pain points and suggesting updates to templates, controls evidence, and reporting routines

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3 years of experience in accounting, financial operations, reporting, or reconciliation
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work accurately with large datasets
  • Ability to perform practical problem-solving through fact-finding, clarification, and basic analysis within defined procedures, with appropriate escalation when needed
  • High attention to detail with a consistent focus on data quality, integrity, and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings and provide status updates with appropriate context

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with back-office accounting platforms or financial data reconciliation tools
  • Familiarity with general ledger systems and journal entry workflows
  • Exposure to UAT or system testing processes in a finance or operations environment
  • Experience supporting audit readiness activities or maintaining controls documentation
