Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including purchase order and payments, and monitoring of AR/AP ageing.
- Prepare and review tax returns and other regulatory reports.
- Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as needed.
- Participate and assist in improvement projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and/or Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
- Knowledge and experience in US GAAP, regional accounting experience an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
