What We are Looking For?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
Skills you’ll need:
Accounts Receivable (Singapore and US entity):
Manage full spectrum AR duties (Invoicing/ Collection/ Receipts/ Reporting)
Monitors AR Aging reports
Handle Monthly AR reporting and analysis duties
Prepare weekly, monthly AR closing reports and quarterly bad debt recovery reports.
Credit Management - customers’ credit review
Cash flow management & forecast, including monthly bank reconciliation
Any other ad-hoc AR related duties, as assigned.
General Ledger for Subsidiaries:
Liaise with outsourced accountants of subsidiaries (at least 2 entities) and auditors.
Responsible for respective statutory audit and compliance requirements
Perform month-end and year-end closing of accounts for management reporting and statutory compliance
Review monthly P&L and B/S schedules (Local & US GAAP) for accuracy and completeness before uploading to SAP.
Perform account reconciliation for B/S items between Local & US GAAP
Review of general Opex invoices submitted by outsourced accountants
Review weekly payment request submitted by outsourced accountants for manager’s approval
Any other ad-hoc accounting & finance related duties, as assigned.
Required Experience & Skills:
Degree in Accounting or equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in AR/General Ledger or audit background
Knowledge of accounting & MS office software; SAP experience will be a plus
Meticulous and organized
Willingness to take on job rotation
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written
Experience in a multi-national environment preferred
