Accountabilities of An Account Manager:

  • Develop strong relationships with key customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to manage and grow key accounts. 
  • Drive client engagements to ensure IQVIA receive all RFPs from client organizations.
  • Generate new leads through networking and cold calling.
  • Responsible for leading client engagements, contracts, & more
  • Use data analysis to identify what worked, what could be improved and incorporate into your account planning.
  • Use CRM tools to track interactions, sales, and account history. 
  • Ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and meet customer requirements. 
  • Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) and track key account metrics. 
  •  Collaborate internally to achieve sustainable growth and development. 

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of eight (8) years relevant sales or account management experience. 
  • Knowledge of IMS offerings, customer account management and pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Additional key attribute preferred:

  • Problem solving, negotiation, planning, relationship building, relationship management, presentation, good written and oral communication skills, business acumen are essential.
  • Analytical background is preferred.
  • Proactive/ have a positive attitude.
  • Team player
