Job Description

Role Summary

As Technical Account Manager, you will support DayOne’s sales efforts by providing the technical depth needed to engage complex hyperscale customers. This role sits within the sales team and is intended to complement customer-facing account management with strong technical coordination and program delivery support.

The role is based in Singapore and is expected to work closely with commercial, design, delivery, operations, construction, and customer engineering teams. Reporting lines are still being finalized, but the role will work directly with key internal stakeholders across the commercial and technical organization.

This hire is critical because DayOne is expanding into increasingly complex, large-scale hyperscale opportunities with increasing multi-megawatt capacity requirements. The business needs someone who can bridge customer technical requirements and internal execution teams, helping shape contracts, align delivery expectations, and support growth in strategic hyperscale accounts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical counterpart to the sales team for hyperscale accounts, supporting opportunity development through technical and execution alignment.
  • Lead coordination between customer engineering teams and DayOne’s internal design, delivery, operations, and construction stakeholders.
  • Translate complex customer fit-out, connectivity, and data hall requirements into clear internal actions and workable technical responses.
  • Support the development of large, complex contracts by driving the technical workstream that informs scope, feasibility, and delivery commitments.
  • Manage cross-functional discussions to keep technical decisions, timelines, and dependencies aligned across internal and external teams.
  • Provide structured program management support across multiple stakeholders involved in high-capacity data center opportunities.
  • Identify technical risks, gaps, and execution challenges early, and work with the right teams to resolve them before they impact customer commitments.
  • Help build confidence with hyperscale customers by bringing clarity, rigor, and coordination to technically demanding engagements.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience supporting hyperscale customers in a data center environment.
  • Strong track record working on large-scale capacity projects, Ability to coordinate complex technical and delivery discussions across customer teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid program management capability, with the ability to organize moving parts, drive follow-through, and keep technical workstreams on track.
  • Practical understanding of data center solutioning, including customer technical requirements related to data hall environments, fit-out, and connectivity.
  • Ability to work effectively across sales and engineering functions, serving as a clear bridge between front-end account activity and back-end execution.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in customer-facing and cross-functional settings.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a traditional pre-sales or technical solutions role within the data center industry.
