THE JOB / Account Manager

The Account Manager is a passionate and detail-orientated professional with a strong background  planning and executing events and hospitality programs with a knack for creativity. With event and hospitality management at the forefront, this role also involves building and maintaining client servicing relationships, ensuring exceptional service, and lead the planning and execution of high-quality experiences that leave a lasting impact.

The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced event planner and producer who excels in building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties. They possess expertise in full end-to-end event & hospitality planning and production (including but not limited to talent management, decor, F&B, entertainment, transport, AV etc). They are skilled at managing project timelines, developing new business event proposals and budgets, and proactively providing solutions as challenges arise while troubleshooting effectively on event day to ensure seamless execution.


THE WORK YOU’LL DO

Event and Hospitality Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of events and hospitality programs from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of event production, including venue selection, AV/technical setup, talent management, décor, F&B, entertainment, and travel logistics.
  • Develop event timelines, ensuring every detail is accounted for and delivered on time.
  • Manage on-site event execution, including setup, live production, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate logistics, production elements, and overall experience.
  • Manage supplier/vendor negotiations and contracting
  • Conduct post-event debriefs to measure success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

Team Management: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams providing guidance on best practices in event planning and production and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Continually build, grow and maintain our culture, demonstrating our All in Play attitude and values in all colleague, client and stakeholder interactions

Client & Stakeholder Relationship Development:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients/internal team, ensuring clear communication with regular updaets and an understanding of their objectives addressing their needs and offering strategic advice to enhance their programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure high-quality delivery.

Creative Development

  • Contribute innovative ideas and creative solutions to elevate events and hospitality programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new concepts and technology to enhance client experiences.

Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Create detailed event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Track and reconcile budgets, providing post-event financial reporting

Business Development: 

  • Actively identify, create and pursue new opportunities across the client’s portfolio
  • Participate in new business development efforts via prospecting and contributing to the development of proposals farming opportunities from the Client as well as new clients to the agency


WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Min 4-7+ years’ experience working in event planning and production, account management, project management or client service with a brand or agency
  • Strong expertise in event planning, hospitality management, and live event production, including AV/technical elements and on-site logistics.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges in real-time.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Creativity and innovation in conceptualizing and delivering unique event experiences.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Capacity to quickly become knowledgeable on our clients’ industry, brand, and business.
  • Strong ability to work within a team, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems effectively and independently
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry tools and software is a plus.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel and work weekend/holidays as needed
  • Have a network of suppliers/vendors is a plus
  • Experience in show calling is a plus
  • Language proficiency – a second language is a plus
