Role Overview

Client Partners lead DXC accounts with significant growth potential. Each Client Partner is assigned responsibility for one or more named public sector customers and serves as the primary account leader, orchestrating DXC resources to achieve revenue growth objectives through well-defined account strategies.

The Associate Manager, Client Partner – Public Sector supports the growth and management of assigned Singapore public-sector accounts. The role is focused on driving client success, deepening stakeholder relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering on DXC's revenue objectives across the full portfolio of DXC offerings. Working closely with senior client partners, solutioning teams, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders, the individual will contribute to account growth, renewals, and customer satisfaction initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth

  • Support revenue growth across assigned Singapore public sector accounts through account expansion and new opportunity development.

  • Contribute to revenue targets across DXC offerings including applications, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, workplace, and managed services.

  • Assist in developing and executing account growth plans and maintaining forecast accuracy.

Opportunity Origination

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across assigned accounts.

  • Build pipeline through cross-sell, upsell, and account expansion activities.

  • Support public sector pursuits, tenders, RFPs, and framework opportunities in partnership with solutioning and bid teams.

Revenue Retention & Renewals

  • Support contract renewals and retention strategies to protect existing revenue streams.

  • Work with account and delivery teams to identify risks and growth opportunities.

  • Help maintain long-term account sustainability and customer retention.

Competitive Positioning

  • Position DXC solutions effectively against competitors.

  • Understand client priorities and align DXC offerings to business and technology needs.

  • Contribute to compelling value propositions for public sector customers.

Client Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with public sector stakeholders across business, procurement, and technology functions.

  • Support executive engagement activities and governance meetings.

  • Establish credibility and trust with customer stakeholders while developing long-term partnerships.

Account Planning & Governance

  • Participate in account planning activities and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).

  • Coordinate with sales, solutioning, and delivery teams to execute account strategies.

  • Support governance processes and account reviews to ensure customer success.

VoC / NPS Actions

  • Assist in managing customer feedback programs and follow-up actions.

  • Support initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and strengthen client advocacy.

Accurate Forecasting

  • Maintain pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.

  • Provide regular updates on opportunities, revenue performance, and account activities.

Value Creation & Market Insight

  • Stay informed on Singapore public sector priorities, procurement processes, and technology trends.

  • Develop knowledge of DXC's services and solutions portfolio.

  • Identify opportunities where DXC can support citizen services, digital government, cloud, cybersecurity, and modernization initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators

The effectiveness of the role will be measured by:

  • Revenue growth – meeting or exceeding assigned revenue growth objectives.

  • TCV/ABR production – contributing to bookings that generate current and future revenue.

  • Margin performance – supporting profitability objectives within assigned accounts.

  • DSO – supporting timely payment collection from customers.

  • Client satisfaction (NPS/VoC) – ensuring customer feedback is reviewed and action plans are executed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 years or more of public-sector client-facing sales, account management, business development, or consulting experience within IT services, system integration, cloud, telecommunications, or technology consulting environments.

  • Demonstrated client-first mindset with the ability to build and nurture long-term customer relationships.

  • Proven experience supporting revenue growth, account expansion, and strategic account management activities.

  • Experience selling or supporting technology solutions such as cloud, cybersecurity, applications, infrastructure, managed services, data, or digital transformation offerings.

  • Understanding of enterprise services and ability to navigate complex client organizations.

  • Experience supporting proposals, tenders, RFPs, or public sector pursuits is preferred.

  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

  • Knowledge of Singapore public sector procurement processes and government technology initiatives is an advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Relevant sales, cloud, account management, or public sector certifications are advantageous.
