How you’ll make an impact
As an Account Manager (AM), you are responsible for managing, developing and growing Accounting Partners by helping them to develop and execute a digital strategy. You will provide consistent support to assist them in migrating clients on to the Xero platform, contributing to their businesses success overall. You’ll form great relationships with your Accounting Partners and also work closely with your Account Management and Partner Consultant colleagues to make sure that you and your colleagues are working in the best way to support Xero’s success overall in Asia.
What you’ll do
- Manage the sales and account management relationships with accounting partners located in Asia
- Generate a pipeline of qualified opportunities through the use of, but not limited to, proactive outbound call activity, emails, meetings and marketing campaigns
- Drive customer numbers up and achieve monthly targets
- Drive online strategy deep within existing new partners
- Manage the recruitment, education and growth of your partner base
- Deliver Xero partner events (in person and virtual)
- Ensure Partners and and other employees within the Practice attend introductory webinars, events & certification training
- Educate Partners on all partner resources available to grow their accounting practices
- Monitor all existing and new Partners as they progress through the sales cycle
- Update our CRM system (Salesforce) with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings
- Maintain and update our CRM system of all practice staff and contact details
- Respond in a timely manner to all Partner enquiries
- Engage in a call cycle with all allocated partners
- Drive attendance at Xero events
- Work closely with Partner Consultants to implement business plans
- Leverage your agility, work ethic and desire to achieve, by contributing to the success of the Xero Asia sales team
Success looks like
- You will bring a can-do attitude, giving 110% to support the Asia sales team to deliver its best
- Events, meetings and projects will be delivered efficiently and effectively with positive stakeholder feedback
- Quality and accuracy of documentation of a high quality.
- Expenses are managed on time and within budget, with exceptions escalated as appropriate.
- Purchase orders uploaded in a timely and accurate manner, invoices are managed and paid on time
What you’ll bring with you
- 3-5 years of relevant events or Sales/Business Support experience including event execution
- Previous experience in event creation and execution and support services in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to work independently, multi-task and deal with competing priorities
- Experience organising and managing resources and establishing priorities,
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently
- An interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting market and Fintech
- Results driven approach
- Loads of initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills and an enthusiasm for building strong relationships
- Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners
- Attention to detail and follow-up
