Royal Ocean Marine is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring the delivery of excellent service and driving business growth. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, understanding their needs, and acting as the liaison between clients and internal teams to facilitate timely and effective delivery of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives and align company offerings to meet those needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Coordinate internally with sales, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling company products and services.
- Monitor account performance and prepare regular reports on account status, sales metrics, and growth opportunities.
- Support contract renewals and negotiate terms in collaboration with legal and sales departments.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and industry events as necessary to strengthen relationships and business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably within the maritime, shipping, or logistics sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and account renewal processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
