Monks are on the lookout for an outstanding social content creator to collaborate exclusively with our Singaporean client. This is a rare opportunity for a lifestyle and money-savvy content creator who is attuned to cultural trends and can swiftly convert ideas into captivating social media content. 

As a solo creative powerhouse, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the client’s social media impact in Singapore. Your contributions will involve providing innovative creative insights for this client’s offering to their audiences. If you are passionate about crafting social content that bridges culture, community, and brands, this is your chance to drive social creative excellence. You will have the autonomy to experiment and influence the social narrative.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Generate community-focused, culturally relevant social content ideas that align with the brand’s voice.
  • Creating and shooting content every day - or most days - in a mix of static and video content. 
  • Monitor trends to identify new opportunities and test innovative content ideas that support campaign strategies
  • Quickly generate unique and unconventional social creative concepts.
  • Balance the agility of a creator with the need for high-quality content within corporate approval frameworks.
  • You'll be responsible for capturing content on location and for the basic post-production of the content you’ve gathered. You’ll shooting, editing and finishing the content creation
  • Partner with internal teams to bring ideas to life, leading the content creation process from editing to launch.
  • Collaborate with the account team, client team and strategist to uncover new opportunities.
What we are looking for
  • At least 3+ years in social native content creation of short form video and stills.
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing great craft around lifestyle or sports content. 
  • Good creative judgment, with hands-on skills in shooting, design, video editing, and copywriting using social tools.
  • Experience creating for fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of social media algorithms and what works on IG, TikTok and other platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to navigate complexity and unlock opportunities.
  • A collaborative team player who values diverse opinions.
