About Telnyx

Telnyx is an industry leader that's not just imagining the future of global connectivity—we're building it. From architecting and amplifying the reach of a private, global, multi-cloud IP network, to bringing hyperlocal edge technology right to your fingertips through intuitive APIs, we're shaping a new era of seamless interconnection between people, devices, and applications.

We're driven by a desire to transform and modernize what's antiquated, automate the manual, and solve real-world problems through innovative connectivity solutions. As a testament to our success, we're proud to stand as a financially stable and profitable company. Our robust profitability allows us not only to invest in pioneering technologies but also to foster an environment of continuous learning and growth for our team.

Our collective vision is a world where borderless connectivity fuels limitless innovation. By joining us, you can be part of laying the foundations for this interconnected future. We're currently seeking passionate individuals who are excited about the opportunity to contribute to an industry-shaping company while growing their own skills and careers.

The role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving Telnyx's expansion across the APAC region. As we scale rapidly from our ANZ foundation into Singapore and beyond, this is a high-impact opportunity to own a territory and shape how businesses across APAC adopt next-generation communications infrastructure.
Telnyx is a global leader in Voice AI and programmable telecom infrastructure — we provide the building blocks (SIP trunking, Voice API, SMS, networking, and AI-powered voice solutions) that companies use to embed real-time communications into their products. From AI-driven call centers to embedded phone systems in SaaS platforms, we're the infrastructure layer powering the future of voice.
Supported by our marketing and BDR teams, you will focus on identifying and closing new high-value customers, building long-term strategic relationships that drive sustained revenue growth. This role would suit an experienced sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can operate independently in a remote-first setting.
Responsibilities
• Partner with the Director of Sales to develop and execute a sales strategy across the APAC region — you'll own your territory and be accountable for delivering revenue targets.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with key customers, driving continued adoption and expansion of Telnyx's products and services.
• Deliver compelling Telnyx portal and platform demos for prospects, with support from our Sales Engineering team.
• Work closely with customers to define critical business goals and KPIs, helping them achieve measurable outcomes with Telnyx.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, and sales peers to optimize client value and amplify Telnyx's market presence.
• Provide accurate reporting and forecasting at every stage of the pipeline.
What we are looking for
• Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead and follow.
• 3+ years of selling experience in enterprise consumption-based software platforms.
• SaaS, CPaaS, or telecommunications industry experience.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota.
• Hunter mentality with experience building outbound strategies across phone, email, and social selling.
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills — you're a strong listener and a clear communicator.
• Ability to identify and sell to C-Level targets, as well as across Product Development and IT contacts.
Bonus points for
• Mandarin language skills
• Telco, CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or Voice AI sales experience
• Established relationships with customers who trust and respect your advice
• Proven consultative selling skills, including the ability to articulate a clear ROI value proposition
• Experience with sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, MEDDPICC, etc.
