About this role:
As an Account Director on the APAC Demand Team, you’ll be responsible for managing some of the region's key customer relationships specially in the Great China Region. You will deliver outstanding, industry-leading client service to mid to senior level POCs, ensuring client happiness as determined by peer & client feedback. This role goes beyond day-to-day account management. The Account Director will serve as a senior growth partner to our top clients — owning revenue expansion, executive alignment, strategic roadmap discussions, and long-term partnership development.
This is a position based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Manager, GCR Existing Business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of mobile advertisers, launching their campaigns, defining their strategies, upselling, and aligning internal resources to execute their goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Analytics, Creative, Product, and Operations) to deliver best-in-class support and campaign optimization, facilitating growth across internal and external objectives
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align the customer’s business objectives with the company’s product / service capabilities.
- Demonstrate fluency in analyzing and leveraging complex datasets to drive account growth and performance improvements.
- Forecast revenue and manage a healthy pipeline of both existing and prospective clients.
- Build strong relationships with mid level POCs to senior director levels; Introductory relationships with higher level stakeholders
- Strong level of understanding of adtech and digital performance ecosystem; consulting clients on the right strategy to meet their goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree and 7-10+ years of work experience. Minimum 5-7 years of account management or enterprise sales experience - preferably in ad tech, mobile marketing, gaming, e-commerce, or digital consulting.
- Proven track record of managing a revenue quota and delivering against performance goals.
- Organization and project management skills, strong commercial sense and negotiation skills.
- Creative solution-seeking skills
- Leadcross-team collaboration and project management to meet clients’ requests and drive revenue impact.
- Comprehensive understanding of the mobile app and/or digital media ecosystem
- Strong analytical mindset—comfortable working with data, extracting insights, and building client-facing narratives. Experience with enterprise level tools such as Tableau, Looker, Salesforce are a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to craft and deliver compelling executive briefings and account reviews.
- Excellent communicator who can present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and excited to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness for quarterly business travel as required - both domestically within China and internationally.
- Business proficiency in Mandarin Chinese in order to service the Greater China Region customers and business proficiency in English for internal cross-functional collaboration.
This position is eligible to be filled in Singapore. We are a hybrid working style and require 1-2 days/week in-office regardless of location.
Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work. In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location.
The annual OTE (on-target earning = base + on-target bonus) for this role in Singapore is SGD 165,000 - 195,000
