The Programme Manager will manage and support educational programs for local and international students, fostering connections with startups and stakeholders, and executing marketing outreach activities.
The new member will work alongside the existing team and support some of the following roles:
- Managing new/existing programmes involving local and international students and entrepreneurs, including the administration of student-related matters, and possibly support internship placements, companies' engagement, etc.
- Support the running of new programmes/initiatives involving international students/startups and other partners.
- Building and nurturing a vibrant community of programme participants, alumni and partners through various engagement platforms and activities.
- Expanding network and fostering relationships with key partners and stakeholders involved in the various programmes and initiatives.
- Planning and executing marketing and outreach for new programmes/projects and creating pipeline for potential participants pool.
- Organising outreach activities to engage potential partners and collaborators for future programmes.
- Work, engage and communicate with companies, students, NUS staff and alumni, partner universities, external agencies and entrepreneurs.
- Working closely with students, and demonstrating a genuine interest in supporting their learning and development journeys.
- Developing and managing shared work processes and knowledge/data depositories relating to the programmes and initiatives.
- Taking on special projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Degree holders with at least 5-7 years working experience.
- Strong project/programme management skills.
- Entrepreneurial experience and knowledge on entrepreneurial trends in Singapore and globally would be an advantage, but not a must.
- Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, have broad background to understand innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Resourceful and comfortable in fast changing environment.
- Effective team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - good grasp of written and spoken English, good knowledge of secondary language will be an advantage.
- Outgoing personality who enjoys building and growing network of connections with students, startups, corporates, ecosystem builders, etc.
- Enjoys working with students and supporting their growth and development.
