Owns map quality, annotation standards, validation strategy, testing, sensor-data analysis, and map deployment across an autonomous vehicle fleet. Coordinates rollouts, rollbacks, and releases; collaborates with mapping and localization teams to improve tools and workflows; and mentors Mapping Specialists. Requires GIS experience, ideally with HD maps, plus map validation and testing expertise. Robotics, ROS, Python scripting, autonomous vehicle deployment, and AI-assisted development experience are beneficial.

Annotate and maintain maps for autonomous vehicles, plan map testing and validation, collaborate with testing teams using onboard sensor data, and manage map deployment and updates across vehicle fleets.

Lead the architecture and development of high-throughput simulation and regression testing tools for autonomous vehicle systems. Build AI-enabled test-case generation frameworks using driving data, support perception-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and vehicle-in-the-loop testing, shape infrastructure roadmaps, and mentor engineers through code reviews and system-design best practices.
