What It's Like to Work at Upstart

Upstart has cultivated my individual contributor career path, allowing me to flourish and grow in ways I didn't expect to as an engineer. My everyday experience is enhanced because I work with talented, passionate, and creative peers.

My journey in the Machine Learning team at Upstart has been extremely rewarding, allowing me to grow in ways that I had never imagined before. The rare combination of extremely smart and helpful colleagues is my favorite part of working at Upstart.

Upstart is breaking new ground with AI and tackling a persistent societal problem: affordable access to credit. What I love most is how the company goes about it— the ethic of transparency, accountability and the willingness to work in partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders.
