Assist property and power underwriters with evaluating new and renewal risks, comparing risk profiles and terms, benchmarking occupancies and countries, reviewing contract wordings, entering contract details into the underwriting platform, and researching markets and industries. The internship offers practical exposure to insurance and reinsurance underwriting while collaborating with experienced underwriters and cross-functional teams.

Supports actuarial studies, natural catastrophe modeling, statistical analysis, data compilation, results presentation, and non-life reinsurance treaty pricing. The intern may complete an individual project, participate in actuarial and reinsurance training, and assist with pricing during renewal periods. The role requires strong mathematical and analytical skills, programming or statistical analysis experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and tools such as SAS and R.

Assist the Internal Audit team with APAC audit assignments, including risk assessments, document reviews, surveys, transaction testing, results analysis, and working-paper documentation. Support quarterly follow-up of corrective actions and departmental initiatives involving AI. Build stakeholder relationships, communicate insights clearly, and work independently under supervision in an international insurance and reinsurance environment.

Leads SCOR’s Southeast Asia pricing function, managing Pricing Actuaries and overseeing quotations, repricing, risk assessment, pricing governance, and profitability. The role develops regional guidelines, supports product and inforce management, builds market intelligence, strengthens client relationships, and contributes to global pricing initiatives. It also recruits and develops talent, promotes technical excellence, and collaborates with regional and global teams.

Lead and manage Life & Health reserving across APAC with focus on IFRS17 and Solvency II. Produce and review quarterly and annual reserves, set assumptions, guide regional actuarial teams, support auditors, deliver statutory reporting for Singapore, contribute to capital forecasting, and drive process improvements and ad hoc projects.

The intern will assist in catastrophe modeling, data collection, model evaluation, and client services related to natural catastrophe risks.

Manage administration of retrocession/reinsurance portfolios: enter terms into accounting systems, process accounts and claims, manage cashflow, perform ICS controls, ensure sanctions compliance, maintain documentation, support underwriters, mentor juniors, and provide reporting for audits and stakeholders.
