Develop and deliver strategic communications for Rio Tinto’s Commercial and broader business functions. The role provides counsel to senior leaders, supports executive communications, manages reputational risk, strengthens leadership profiles, plans events, and oversees narratives, messaging, digital content, and visual communications. Candidates need substantial communications experience in mining, metals, energy, commodities, or other complex industrial environments, with strong writing, stakeholder engagement, influencing, and strategic advisory skills.

Lead internal consulting projects addressing Rio Tinto’s highest-value business challenges. Structure complex problems, analyze information, test hypotheses, develop recommendations, manage workstreams, engage stakeholders, present findings to executives, and support implementation. The role partners across commercial functions in APAC to deliver sustainable business value and strengthen trusted client relationships.
