Makes technical decisions across multiple teams, establishes engineering conventions and processes, leads concurrent initiatives, communicates technical issues to nontechnical audiences, mentors engineers, applies industry practices, and partners with product management to develop business solutions.

Leads software engineering projects and systems, coordinates technical work, sets engineering standards, and makes architecture decisions. Designs, develops, tests, and maintains scalable applications while improving reliability, performance, security, and maintainability. Collaborates with product managers, designers, management, external partners, and engineering teams; mentors junior engineers; evaluates AI-assisted development tools and emerging AI/ML technologies; and coordinates software releases.

Implements software development lifecycle tasks under guidance, follows established engineering standards, makes technical decisions, collaborates with peers and project leads, and contributes to code and design reviews. The role requires Java programming, object-oriented design, Spring framework knowledge, analytical problem-solving, and preferably experience building financial systems or payment platforms in regulated financial services.
