Supports MUFG’s global financial crimes compliance governance and oversight framework across entities, business lines, and jurisdictions. Responsibilities include maintaining policy implementation, analyzing entity reporting, coordinating information sharing with Head Office, supporting FATF evaluation preparations, reviewing compliance information, and strengthening relationships across US and Japan teams. The role requires enterprise risk or compliance experience in financial institutions, regulatory knowledge, governance expertise, strong writing, project management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Manages compensation programs and incentive governance for assigned business lines. Executes annual compensation reviews and market surveys, analyzes salary, bonus, equity, and labor-market data, supports regulatory compliance, and partners with business, finance, compliance, risk, and HR leaders. Develops market-data solutions, provides compensation insights, performs ad hoc analysis, and leads strategic compensation projects.

Leads MUFG’s APAC Regional Intelligence Unit, overseeing complex financial crime investigations, intelligence reviews, risk assessments, escalations, and audit-ready reporting. The role manages regional priorities, quality standards, stakeholder coordination, workload, and team development across jurisdictions. It also identifies emerging financial crime risks and supports controlled use of data analytics and AI in investigative processes.
