Teams at Morningstar

Develop new business and grow mid-market financial-services accounts across Southeast Asia. The role involves prospecting, pipeline development, social selling, campaign collaboration, cross-selling, renewals, contract coordination, Salesforce forecasting, and representing Morningstar at industry events. The successful candidate will sell financial data solutions to asset managers, wealth managers, banks, advisors, retirement organizations, and FinTech companies, while building executive and user-level relationships and delivering revenue and retention results.

Research and assess Asia-based fund managers, investment strategies, and managed products. Lead manager interviews, develop rating notes and research reports, formulate investment opinions, contribute to thought leadership, and help shape research methodologies. The role also involves analytical assignments, stakeholder engagement, administrative work, and collaboration with global investment, research, data, and software teams.

Supports Asian equities analysts by building valuation models, preparing research reports, creating charts and tables, monitoring industry information, and covering Japanese companies through Japanese-language webinars and meetings. The role develops toward independent fundamental analysis, fair-value determination, investment-idea pitching, and long-term valuation-based stock research.
