Participate in Marriott's Hotel Internship Program to learn hotel operations across departments, gain hands-on experience, immerse in company culture, and prepare for post-graduation hospitality careers. Interns must be current college or university students.

Oversee and perform building maintenance and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment, calibrate controls, maintain inventory, complete life-safety checks (fire pump/generator), respond to guest repair requests, and support disaster response. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and enforce safety and quality standards. Perform physical tasks, inspect tools and systems, and complete related administrative logs and purchase orders.

Ensure food hygiene and safety compliance across hotel food and beverage operations. Advise and train food handlers, conduct daily kitchen and vendor inspections, manage pest control and cleaning programs, handle regulatory and customer hygiene enquiries, and maintain documentation and corrective actions to uphold brand and government food-safety standards.

Receive, unload, inspect, stage, and deliver incoming shipments; verify counts and conditions, reconcile invoices and receiving reports, track inventory and package signatures, handle outgoing mail, secure receiving area, follow hazardous materials guidelines, report damage or safety issues, and provide professional guest communication and service.

Install, configure, manage, and repair computers, servers, networks, and POS systems. Provide end-user support, troubleshoot hardware/software/LAN/WAN issues, implement security measures, manage disk/storage and backups, maintain inventory, and coordinate IT installations and changes for the property.

Perform routine accounting and bookkeeping: verify entries, maintain electronic spreadsheets, classify and summarize financial data, prepare reports and period-end closings, reconcile invoices and account statements, secure records, follow company policies, and support guest and team needs.

Coordinate event logistics and guest services, ensure catering and service standards, support Director of Catering with bookings, BEOs, meetings, deposits, billing, upselling, and interdepartmental communication to deliver successful events and maximize hotel profitability.
