Manage customer renewals across an assigned portfolio in a SaaS environment. Engage customers about contract terms, value realization, and future needs; prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts in Salesforce; collaborate with customer success and sales engineering teams; mitigate churn risks; negotiate pricing and terms; identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; and provide management feedback on renewal trends and process improvements.

Serve as a technical advisor and pre-sales lead for Kong's API and AI connectivity platform. Support sales through discovery, POCs, technical validation, demos, workshops, and deal strategy. Mentor junior SEs, produce technical docs and thought leadership, and influence product direction through customer feedback. Focus areas include API management, AI/LLM governance, Model Context Protocol, semantic caching, prompt guardrails, and agentic AI architectures.

Identify and qualify new sales opportunities via outbound and inbound outreach. Conduct calls, video, LinkedIn and email outreach; update Salesforce; set qualified meetings for Account Executives; exceed monthly/quarterly opportunity quotas; collaborate with marketing and AEs; complete sales training and ramp to quota while developing sales skills for future roles.
