The role requires production LLM application experience, strong software engineering skills, and proficiency in Python, C++, or C#.

Provides advanced applications support for semiconductor metrology products through customer demos, evaluations, onsite technical support, product qualification, solution optimization, training, and technical documentation. Develops metrology solutions involving thin-film modeling, optical critical-dimension modeling, and machine learning for semiconductor devices. Collaborates with customers and internal teams, troubleshoots technical issues, publishes technical papers when needed, and travels internationally up to 60% of the time.

Develop and optimize semiconductor metrology solutions for complex materials and device structures. Work with regional and international wafer fabrication customers on demonstrations, evaluations, product qualification, technical development, troubleshooting, documentation, training, and technical publications. Apply optical modeling, machine learning, statistics, and data analysis to technologies supporting 3D NAND, logic, and DRAM manufacturing.

Leads regional supplier quality and manufacturing support across extended factories and suppliers. Drives supplier readiness from new product development through high-volume production, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, MSA, and capability studies. Conducts process audits, manages quality incidents and corrective actions, oversees product change notifications, and improves yield, defect rates, and process robustness. Partners cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and field service teams across global manufacturing sites.

Manages strategic semiconductor accounts and sales strategies, forecasts revenue, coordinates quotes and order bookings, supports negotiations and collections, resolves customer issues, delivers technical presentations, and communicates market and competitive intelligence internally. Requires extensive semiconductor equipment sales experience, executive-level communication, and frequent customer travel.

Develop and validate AI-driven algorithms for advanced optical metrology and semiconductor analytics. Responsibilities include researching methodologies, analyzing technical data, prototyping and fine-tuning machine learning models, benchmarking performance, defining product features, writing software requirements, and collaborating with application, product, marketing, and software engineering teams to deploy reliable production solutions.

Provide on-site and remote applications support for semiconductor inspection systems, create Dragonfly recipes, troubleshoot, train customers and internal teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and support application development and installations.
