Supports GE Aerospace’s manufacturing site transformation by helping establish flow lines, Andons, standard work, problem-solving processes, and daily management. Assists with Kaizen events and training, conducts shop-floor observations, collects data, analyzes performance metrics, and identifies improvement opportunities. The role applies Lean principles in a fast-paced aerospace engine component maintenance, repair, and overhaul environment.

Leads aerospace component repair NPI projects from process development through industrialization and shop handoff. Creates manufacturing routers, work instructions, substantiation packages, and technical documentation; coordinates global engineering, operations, quality, vendors, and support teams; manages schedules, resources, budgets, safety, and compliance; resolves technical issues; and drives Lean and process improvements to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Supports aerospace manufacturing operations through material handling, equipment preparation, routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, production recordkeeping, inventory tracking, and workspace organization. Ensures adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and AS9100 standards while contributing to continuous improvement and waste reduction. Collaborates with production, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to maintain smooth production flow and accurate material traceability.

Support site-wide EHS initiatives by assisting with safety audits, training development, incident investigations, risk assessments, regulatory documentation, recordkeeping, and organizing safety meetings. Work with teams to identify hazards and recommend improvements in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Support development and implementation of LMS and digital solutions, assist data collection/cleanup, create training and onboarding materials (including VR/AR), perform UAT, track project progress, identify risks, and help optimize existing digital systems.
