One of my favorite events was a "Summer in Winter" themed party, held in-person and virtually at the same time. Remote team members received "party packages" in advance that included festive outfits, drinks, food, and fun favors. They were projected on a big screen in the office, so everyone could see one another and fully participate in the event.
