Mission & Tasks

  • Ensures the deployment and implementation of the Quality strategy across the local CHC commercial offices within the assigned zone to make sure that quality processes and activities in these areas are executed in compliance with the Global Quality standards and applicable GxP regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinates and supports the implementation of the Quality System and the management of Quality events across the local CHC affiliates within the assigned zone.

  • Ensures delivery of quality products and services to ensure patient/customer safety and to support business priorities.

Key Contributions & Activities

  • Ensure consistent and compliant implementation of the Quality Policy and the Quality management systems by Quality Operations in all CHC commercial offices within the assigned zone.

  • Provides functional support & operational guidance to the CHC Country Quality Heads within the assigned zone to ensure:

  • An efficient implementation, management, and maintenance of the Quality system across their CHC Affiliate

  • An annual country quality program is defined and approved in alignment with the CHC Global quality program and Priorities.

  • An annual country quality review is performed.

  • An appropriate state of audit and regulatory authority inspection readiness, their proper involvement in CHC Affiliates GxP audits performed by internal Global Quality Auditing Groups

  • A proper & timely management of quality events, quality risks, deviations, change controls and timely execution of the related corrective/preventive actions plans and change actions. Act as risk reviewer in the QRM database.

  • Reporting of quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and associated trend analysis

  • Review the effectiveness of the CHC Affiliate Quality Systems within the assigned zone via regular interactions/Quality “visits” with the Country Quality Heads (CQHs) in scope, through the analysis of the KPIs reports and the annual Affiliate Quality review.

  • Ensure appropriate quality onboarding and training of CHC CQHs in scope.

  • Drive continuous improvement of the Quality concepts, promote agility, innovation, and quality system effectiveness initiatives, provide appropriate Quality input and agile support in local business/innovation projects.

  • Promote and contribute to the establishment of programs for quality activities and enhancement of quality culture & quality mindset across the CHC quality affiliates and to their endorsement by CHC Country General Managers and Region Quality Head.

  • Lead global transversal Quality projects as per assignment from RQH

  • Direct management as leader for the CHC Country Quality Head providing guidance to ensure individual and collective success.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and facilitate professional development. Collaborate with People & Culture to ensure timely and accurate updates to HR system.

  • Work closely with People & Culture to identify talents, participate on succession plan, recruitment process and onboarding for new CHC Country Quality Head.  

  • Ensure end-of-year annual performance review completions for CQH’s within the zone, and contribution to any related regional/global level discussions as may be required. 

  • Manage and optimize the allocated zone level quality budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support the achievement of strategic objectives, operational needs and continuous improvement goals.

Latitude of Action:

  • The role holder is required to work autonomously and to take decisions in line with Global Quality Policy, Standards and Processes.

  • The role holder has strong compliance mindset; Results-driven, can-do-attitude, solution-oriented, change-agent, patient centric mindset, resourceful, and innovative.

  • Collaboration with CHC Science hub Functions (Medical, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs) and Supply Chain Management Functions at affiliate and zone/region level.

Scope:

The role holder works directly with the Science hub organization as well as with other Quality peers, colleagues from other global CHC Quality operational units, M&S and CHC Support Functions as required.

Delegation

May be delegated to perform tasks/activities on behalf of the RQH AMEA/CN with his agreement

Required skills and Experience

  • Specific Working Experience: Practical and solid experience of minimum 10 years in Quality System Management in health-regulated industry.

  • Knowledge in Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Pharmacovigilance or Clinical domains.

  • Leading teams in various countries within the assigned zone. International exposure. Experience as project leader
