Job Summary

The xScale Finance Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing complex, cross-functional finance initiatives across joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, and capital market projects. This role requires hands-on project management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to deliver project milestones on time and within scope.Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of strategic xScale JV finance projects, ensuring structured planning, disciplined execution, and timely completion of milestones.
  • Coordinate project activities for joint ventures, refinancing, and capital markets transactions, working closely with treasury, capital markets and cross functional teams.
  • Maintain project governance and tracking mechanisms, ensuring decisions, deliverables, and dependencies are documented and monitored.
  • Oversee due diligence activities across financial, tax, legal, and operational workstreams, ensuring all documentation is organized and maintained within the due diligence repository
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk registers, ensuring transparency and proactive issue management
  • Communicate project objectives, progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely communication of project objectives, progress, risks, and outcomes to drive alignment and support successful project delivery
  • Provide clear, concise, and consistent communication to stakeholders, including regular reporting and updates.
  • Apply recognized project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PMI, PRINCE2).

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in corporate development or capital markets environments
  • CPA qualification or equivalent professional accounting designation is highly preferred
  • Essential: Proven experience managing projects in joint ventures/M&A and capital markets
  • Demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or operations prior to moving into project management is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, advisors, and workstreams with precision, structure, and proactive follow-up
  • Knowledge of due diligence processes, including tax and financial components.
  • Experience collaborating with external advisors, including investment banks, legal counsel, tax advisors, and consultants
  • Proficient in use of Planning Tools e.g. Smartsheets, Microsoft projects, Jira etc.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills essential
  • Project Management certification is required

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 112,000 - 162,000 CAD / Annual

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
