Workday Senior Consultant

Integration Design & Implementation
  • Lead end-to-end Workday integration projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Utilize Workday integration tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, PICOF/PECI, and Workday Extend to build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, talent management, time tracking).

  • Develop and implement XSLT transformations, REST/SOAP APIs, and JSON/XML data mappings to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Workday reports, including Composite, Matrix, and custom reporting solutions.

  • Build and optimize Workday dashboards to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.

  • Leverage Calculated Fields and Report-as-a-Service (RaaS) to enhance reporting capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices in reporting.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
  • Collaborate with functional teams and third-party vendors to define requirements and develop integration solutions.

  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Workday effectively.

  • Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot and resolve integration and reporting issues.

Documentation & Best Practices
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including integration design documents, technical specifications, test plans, and deployment guides.

  • Establish best practices for Workday utilization and create documentation to support future enhancements and training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in Workday integration and reporting, with a strong background in Workday modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits).

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Workday integration tools (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, PICOF/PECI, Workday Extend), XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs, and data transformation techniques.

  • Reporting Expertise: Proficient in designing and developing Workday reports and dashboards, utilizing Calculated Fields and RaaS.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Workday Integration and Reporting certifications (e.g., Workday Studio Certified, Integration Certified, Report Designer).

  • Additional Skills: Experience with Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, or similar ERP systems; proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Groovy.

  • Language Proficiency: Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
