About the Role:
We are seeking a Vice President for APJ to lead our Horizon Group. This challenging and high-visibility position provides leadership and management oversight to the Regional Sales Managers; with a direct reporting team of Practice Leads across the APJ region. You’ll develop long-term strategies and shorter term plans to meet aggressive revenue goals. You must be extremely results driven, customer focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships.

You'll translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business outcomes, demonstrating tangible ROI that resonates with C-suite executives and technical leaders alike. Develop and Execute Winning Strategies - Design and implement territory plans that consistently exceed revenue targets through both new business acquisition and customer expansion
Lead Strategic Conversations - Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor across the APJ landscape
Guide Complex Sales Processes - Navigate sophisticated buying committees, building consensus and driving momentum from discovery through closure
Foster Ecosystem Success - Coordinate efforts across CrowdStrike's sales, technical, marketing, and partner teams to create powerful market momentum
Provide management and leadership to product focused Regional Sales Managers within the region to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment
Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis
Partner with senior leadership to identify key issues and changes which may impact expected business results and identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy
Use your management and technical skills to develop, modify, and execute company policies that affect operations and may have a companywide effect.
Act as an advisor or subject matter expert in regards to our Horizon business
Hire, train, and manage a team of highly motivated and successful senior sales professionals.
This individual manages the coordination of activities of a Region, with full responsibility for oversight in terms of costs, methods and staffing.
What You’ll Need:
APJ wide sales leadership experience within cybersecurity.
People management / 2nd line leadership experience of a team of Directors
Technical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
Ability to sell in direct touch approach and via the channel.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
Passionate relationship building and negotiating skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including the Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
Strong understanding of Security management technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
Demonstrated experience working with Sales organisations and technical teams.
MEDDPICC sales methodology experience strongly preferred
Experience with developing budgets and predicting project costs.
A demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees.
Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
Ability to work remotely and able and willing to travel.
