About Kody

Kody is redefining the payments landscape, providing businesses with cutting-edge payment solutions that drive profitability. As we accelerate our expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, we are seeking an experienced, aggressive, and results-driven VP of Commercial & Partnerships.

In this role, you will be the core revenue engine driver, responsible for building and scaling a high-performing sales organization, penetrating key APAC markets, and executing strategic partner alliances to achieve and exceed our ambitious revenue targets.

The Role

This is a senior revenue-generating leadership role requiring a strong sales instinct, strategic vision, and relentless operational execution.

You will lead the end-to-end commercial operations across APAC—focusing heavily on direct merchant acquisition, enterprise sales, and strategic partner networks. We are looking for an inspiring sales leader with a proven track record of managing teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • APAC Commercial Strategy: Formulate and execute aggressive market-entry and revenue-growth strategies across key APAC markets, identifying high-growth merchant segments and strategic verticals.
  • Direct Enterprise Deal Closing: Hands-on lead and negotiate high-value, complex payment deals with key merchants, major enterprises, and high-volume platforms.
  • Partnerships & Referral Networks: Drive strategic partner distribution channels, including ISOs, ISVs, payment facilitators, and referral partners to accelerate merchant acquisition.
  • Target & Performance Management: Set clear revenue quotas, pipeline metrics, and KPIs to track, manage, and boost overall sales output.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to streamline merchant onboarding, optimize payment conversion rates, and enhance local payment method integrations.
  • Market Insights: Stay close to APAC market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitor movements to refine Kody’s pricing models, value proposition, and product roadmap.

Requirements
  • Track Record in Sales Leadership: 5+ years of experience building, scaling, and managing high-volume B2B/Enterprise sales teams, with documented experience delivering annual TPV.
  • Deep B2B Solution Sales Expertise: Proven track record in complex B2B solution selling, enterprise deal-closing, or value-based selling. Strong knowledge of global/APAC payment ecosystems or financial tech is a major plus, but candidates from high-growth B2B SaaS, Tech, or Financial Services with strong learning agility are highly welcome.
  • Proven Closing Capability: A strong personal reputation for personally driving, negotiating, and closing complex commercial agreements with long sales cycles.
  • Channel & Referral Mastery: Proven expertise in building and leveraging ISO/Referral Partner programs and strategic alliance networks to scale distribution.
  • APAC Market Experience: Deep understanding of commercial dynamics, merchant behavior, and payment preferences across major APAC markets.
  • Leadership & Drive: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and resilience—a proactive leader who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

BenefitsWhat We Offer
  • Competitive Total Compensation: An attractive base salary coupled with a high-upside, uncapped performance bonus/commission structure tied to revenue and TPV growth.
  • Equity & Ownership: Stock options / equity components that allow you to directly share in the long-term success and value creation of Kody.
  • Career Growth & Global Exposure: High visibility within senior global leadership, with ample room for personal career advancement as Kody continues its rapid global scale-up.
