Visual Designer

Role Summary:

As a Visual Designer, you'll craft striking UI concepts and bring fresh ideas to life for our tech client in the payments space. You'll collaborate across teams, blending creativity with user insight to push boundaries and elevate the brand's visual identity.

Role:

• Partner with the rest of the team on technical implementation - UX Designers & product managers, including Motion Graphics Designers, UX Researchers, Project Managers, Content Strategists, etc.
• Collaborate and integrate with clients’ marketing, branding, creative and other teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, etc.
• Drive and inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of users through quality-driven interactive design
• Lead & execute UI projects for mobile apps with deep material design knowledge, providing insights and feedback to the team.
• Ideate and execute ideas from beginning to end in a fast-paced working environment.
• Create original interactive visuals that are exciting and innovative, and respond to the client’s business, brand and strategic objectives across the region. 
• Maintain client relationships and apply business acumen to develop accounts where possible.

You: 

• At least 6+ years of experience in an agency, financial services firm, and hyper-growth technology companies
• A multidisciplinary designer with skills in visual design, UI design, concept development, rapid prototyping, system design, brand identity, product design, and typography.
• A multi-faceted designer who knows your Figma well, including component, style, layer management & creating scalable design systems.
• You don’t just consider yourself a great designer but also an amazing creative. You love coming up with ideas as much as you love spending time crafting them!
• Your commitment will be to delivering work of the highest quality while working with team members to constantly develop new ideas, staying abreast of new media formats and learning to incorporate them into designs.
• A sharp-eyed, detailed oriented and good design ambassador. You have a strong sense of layout, colour, composition and type.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning JAPAC.
