Overview
The Asia Pacific (AP) Tokenization Management, as part of the Digital Payments team, leads the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and plan for the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) related products.
Its primary objectives include driving the revenues through MDES deployments for digital wallets, Merchants, PSPs, Acquirers and issuers across Asia Pacific, driving optimization for revenue and tokenization performance, and leading regional-scale programs for strategic objectives. This role works with Global Products to assess and bring relevant tokenization products to AP region and collaborates with markets and regional cross functional teams to define and execute the product GTM plan. This role requires a well-grounded thought leader who understands Mastercard customers, the Digital Payments ecosystem, its products and services, and has pulse in the competitive landscape.
Role • Lead the Asia Pacific Tokenization team in defining and executing the product GTM strategy and plan. • Manage and develop a high-performing regional team. Create a culture of teamwork, empowerment, problem-solving, thoughtful risk taking, and innovation. • Set clear priorities, provide coaching, and remove blockers. • Create a culture of teamwork, empowerment, problem-solving, thoughtful risk taking, and innovation. • Understand the prevailing competitive environment to form strategies for Mastercard's tokenization product roadmap. • Provide thought leadership, consultancy and input for the executive team for matters related to tokenization products. • Support Business Development team in the RFP/RFI, potential project assessment, and business sizing related to tokenization solutions. • Support Business Excellence team in the pricing, revenues forecast and budget. • Collaborate with Global Products to assess tokenization product readiness. • Collaborate with the authentication team, agentic team, acceptance, delivery, customer care, account managers, market, , services, business development, franchise, finance, legal and regulatory teams to define, prioritize, align and execute the products GTM plan. • Partner with Franchise, Legal and Regulatory team in the market assessment for potential new product launch. • Partner with the Delivery team in the product implementation process definition and optimization. • Drive strong collaboration with technology, fraud, operations, risk, and product teams.• Partner with the Optimization team in the product performance optimization. • Prepare training materials and lead regular training programs for internal stakeholders and to equip customer-facing teams for effective customer engagement on tokenization products. • Partner with the Academy team to deliver product training for customers.
