Overview

EQT Exeter is among the largest real estate investment managers in the world, focused on acquiring, developing and managing logistics/industrial, office, life science and residential properties. The EQT Exeter Team comprises around 450 experienced professionals, including investment and leasing officers, asset managers and operational professionals. The EQT Exeter team was formed when EQT and Exeter joined forces during spring of 2021. EQT Exeter is a separate wholly owned subsidiary within EQT group.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management
    • Respond to investors and limited partners on ad hoc investor requests, ranging from various types of financial analysis to facilitating updates and documentation on respective portfolios.
  • Investor Reporting
    • Responsibility for preparing periodic performance reporting as governed by fund/joint venture agreements.
    • Prepare and review quantitative fund and asset performance information for inclusion in the reports.
    • Coordinate periodic investment portfolio and valuation reviews with other members of the team.
    • Support of quarterly portfolio valuations.
  • Financial Modelling:
    • Design, develop, and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, valuations, and scenario analysis.
    • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of models through rigorous testing and validation.
    • Analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights to support decision-making.
    • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
    • Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Other
    • Internal special projects as needed.
    • Supervise and train analysts and interns as needed.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 10 years of relevant experience within the real estate industry.
  • Significant attention to financial, accounting and operational detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with clients and an analytical mindset. 
  • Understanding of financial reporting, fund accounting / private equity fund structures, financial statements and investment performance metrics.
  • Some technical accounting skills including ability to review and extract information from general ledger / MRI.
  • Strong Excel skills – including knowledge of various Lookups / Data Organization.
  • ARGUS and analytics software a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
