The Vice President of Investment will evaluate investment opportunities, structure transactions, manage due diligence, and collaborate with advisors while supporting asset management initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, including market screening and preliminary assessment.
- Structure, assess, and negotiate transactions, and take hands‑on ownership of due diligence, financial modelling, deal analytics, financing workstreams, and transaction documentation.
- Coordinate and work closely with external advisors (financial, legal, technical, tax), ensuring diligence processes are executed efficiently and within agreed budgets.
- Prepare investment analyses and materials, and support internal approval processes, including presentations to investment committees and boards.
- Support relationship management with partners, service providers, brokers, financiers, and other key stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and execution of asset management initiatives in line with the approved investment thesis, including operational, commercial, and capital structure initiatives.
- Support exit planning and execution, including valuation analysis, preparation of marketing materials, and coordination with advisors.
- Contribute actively as a core deal team member across multiple transactions and workstreams.
Requirements
- Approximately 8–12 years of relevant experience in a top‑tier fund manager, private equity firm, infrastructure investor, or investment bank; experience in data centre or digital infrastructure investments is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in financial modelling, transaction execution, and investment evaluation.
- Solid academic background.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate effectively in a fast‑paced, transaction‑oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
