As a Vice President, HR Business Advisor within our Human Resources team, you will work closely with clients in Corporate Functions. You will provide strategic HR advisory and support, thriving in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You will execute strategic priorities set by senior leaders and collaborate with managers at various levels to drive organizational success. You will engage with senior HR Business Advisors and managers to resolve HR-related matters. Your role involves implementing HR policies, programs, and services effectively.
In this role, you will own relationships with key business stakeholders, offering expert advice across a full spectrum of HR activities. You will design collaborative solutions for emerging people matters, ensuring alignment with regulatory and corporate policies. You will operate effectively within a highly matrixed organization, leveraging resources from multiple areas to deliver results. Job Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business stakeholders on HR activities, including organizational design, employee relations, compensation, staffing, and talent management.
  • Provide creative and pragmatic advice to manage human capital issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.
  • Coordinate talent management programs, identifying future leaders, succession plans, and diverse talent.
  • Offer Employee Relations advice, supporting managers on flexible working, grievances, disciplinary issues, and redundancies.
  • Coordinate the compensation process, ensuring data integrity and educating managers on compensation philosophy.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of overall HR experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in HR advisory roles within a financial services environment.
  • Ability to navigate a global matrix organization and partner on issues across HR and the business. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional judgment, demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to utilize critical thinking and analytical skills regularly to identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations to address root cause
  • Strong analytical, consulting, quantitative and technical skills that enable individual to leverage data to create HR strategies that support and drive business results. Project management abilities including execution skills and end to end process improvement. Technically proficient in MS Office Suite - including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, at all levels of the business;

  • Strong influencing capability to promote and sell ideas to drive change;
  • Resilience in a constantly changing environment;
  • Strong generalist knowledge of human resources processes, principles, concepts and methodology in a business setting, across goal setting, performance assessment and improvement, compensation practices, talent review and talent management, workforce planning, reductions in force, manager development
  • Able to manage multiple projects, understand the business and execute efficiently.


This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 10 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment
