We are seeking a high-calibre professional to join our Fund & Investor Solutions – Fund Accounting (NAV Validation) team based in Singapore.
In this role, you will:
Lead a team delivering accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly NAVs, accounting outputs, and financial statements.
Oversee the end-to-end production cycle, including source-data validation, reconciliations, exception investigation, movement review, approvals, sign-offs, and evidence retention.
Partner with Global teams, fund managers, vendors, distributors, and internal service functions to resolve exceptions, queries, and complex client requirements.
Maintain strong controls and compliance with client mandates, regulatory requirements, BNY policies, procedures, audit standards, and business-continuity expectations.
Own incidents and escalations through resolution, including impact assessment, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
Monitor KPIs, quality, risk, capacity, recurring errors, and deadlines; escalate concerns and implement corrective actions.
Manage staffing, workload, leave coverage, training, onboarding, fund launches, migrations, and operational readiness.
Coach and develop the team through clear objectives, feedback, performance management, succession planning, and an inclusive culture.
Deliver system, control, automation, and AI-enabled improvements that strengthen accuracy, resilience, scalability, and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; a postgraduate Finance qualification is advantageous.
Strong fund accounting experience covering NAV production and validation, reconciliations, financial reporting, controls, audits, and issue resolution.
Professional spoken and written Portuguese is essential for using accounting systems, interpreting reports and instructions, and communicating with fund managers, agencies, vendors, and distributors.
Proven ability to lead time-sensitive production, manage people and escalations, make risk-based decisions, and communicate with clients and senior stakeholders.
Experience with fund launches, migrations, system changes, testing, automation, or AI-enabled operations is preferred.
