As the Vice President, Compliance Advisor within the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities team, you are responsible of supporting the business growth and maintaining resilience. You will provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements, contribute to business strategies, and promote process enhancements. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the region, helping us anticipate and address emerging risks while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

As the Vice President, Compliance Advisor within the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities team, you are responsible of supporting the business growth and maintaining resilience. You will provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements, contribute to business strategies, and promote process enhancements. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the region, helping us anticipate and address emerging risks while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
- Advise on compliance matters for the FICC business regionally, with a focus on Commodities
- Assess regulatory and compliance risks in existing and proposed business activities
- Initiate, coordinate, and implement process enhancements as needed
- Manage regulatory updates, developments, and inquiries in the region
- Liaise with global compliance counterparts to communicate APAC issues and stay informed on global initiatives
- Review new products and initiatives from a compliance perspective
- Support the design, development, and ongoing operation of the compliance program
- Prepare and deliver compliance training materials across Asia
- Draft and manage the rollout of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Collaborate with country and corporate compliance groups and other control functions such as Operations, Technology, Finance, Tax, and Legal
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience within a securities firm, bank, or equivalent financial institution in the Asia Pacific region, with experience in FICC products
- Strong familiarity with FICC business and related regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- High attention to detail and inquisitive mindset
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Professional qualifications from reputable training institutes or professional bodies
- Experience delivering compliance training and developing compliance programs
- Prior experience working with global teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements including relevant global and Asia regulations
- Experience in commodities compliance
- Project management certification or experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis or technology tools relevant to compliance
