The Opportunity:
The Vice President will be responsible for driving business growth, managing regional teams, and building long-term customer and partner relationships across AMEA. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the Biopharma, Pharma and applied industries ecosystem, proven leadership in business development, and a strong grasp of regional market dynamics in India Middle East and Africa Sub-region.
Major Responsibilities:
Strategic & Commercial Leadership:
- Define and implement regional business strategies aligned with global Segment priorities.
- Drive topline growth, market share, and profitability across the bioprocessing product and solution portfolio.
- Oversee regional go-to-market models, key account strategies, Channel distributor management and pricing execution.
- Scale the Critical environment portfolio with right levels of strategy and execution.
P&L and Operational Accountability:
- Full ownership of regional P&L, budgets, and commercial forecasts.
- Lead annual operating plans, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
Customer & Partner Engagement:
- Establish on Commercial, Supply, Service & Channel distributor Agreements/Contracts Lega in collaboration with our legal and finance departments and with the external partners.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with biopharma manufacturers, CDMOs, academic research institutions, key opinion leaders (KOLs) & regulatory Bodies
- Develop strategic partnerships and distribution networks to expand market coverage.
- Maintain and strengthen relationship with Senior Leadership in the Pharma and Biopharma industry to stay informed about industry trends and foster strategic partnerships.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, field application specialists, and technical service.
- Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
- Partnering with HPBP & Talent acquisition to hire and develop the talent to deliver on the sent objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Applications, product management, supply chain, Finance, Account receivables, manufacturing (regional) quality, regulatory, and R&D to ensure regional customer needs are met.
- Provide voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback to support innovation and portfolio optimization.
Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership:
- Monitor competitive activity, emerging bioprocessing technologies, and regional regulatory changes.
- Represent the company at regional industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Innovation and Growth:
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore new product ideas, technologies, and market segments.
- Support growth initiatives by identifying and evaluating potential new products or expansions into new markets.
- Strong growth mindset for Organization, Customers & associates.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Regularly communicate portfolio performance and strategic updates to senior management, executives, and other key stakeholders.
- Present portfolio recommendations and decisions with supporting data and analysis.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
- Manage the financial aspects of the product portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
- Ensure that resources (people, time, money) are allocated effectively across the portfolio to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Participate in business, funnel, bowler and project reviews with clear data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology or any other Lifescience field, Masters degree in Business Administration will be added advantage
- 15+ years of experience in the Pharma & Biopharma Industry specialized in providing technical solutions to the leading manufacturers, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the APAC/AMEA region.
- Strong network within the Pharma, Biopharma Industry
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale business operations and leading multicultural teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across & beyond the region.

- Proven leadership experience – responsible for managing a team of Territory Managers
