The Variable Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the APAC commercial and equipment services organization in various analytical and operational tasks related to Variable Compensation. This role involves data analysis, reporting, and assisting in the development and implementation of VC processes and enhancements. The Analyst will be required to have good knowledge on Xactly/VCP tool and work closely with different departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of VC payment.

This position reports to the Variable Compensation Leader-APAC and is part of the Commercial Excellence located in Singapore and will be an on-site role. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support our growing APAC commercial and equipment services organization of over 550 sales/service associates with all variable compensation-related matters. Ensuring setting up VCP plans, components, weightage etc for all roles/associates in Xactly, as may be applicable. Loading of targets and attainments quarterly. Accuracy of results and timely payouts for associates. Interact with region commercial excellence, finance etc as may be desired per process. In short, responsible for efficient delivery of VC process, end to end in APAC.
  • Support the deployment of sales incentive system enhancements and act as the subject matter expert. Assist in designing relevant VC plans and schemes/programs (SPIFF) for roles across APAC region in alignment with Global team.
  • Conduct commercial and financial analysis. Provide visibility to leadership on commercial achievements of team, trends, insights etc.  Support VCP financials, budget, scenario impact planning, accruals etc with finance teams. Liaise with HR on onboarding new commercial team members onto VC plan and quarterly VC payment.
  • Develop expertise in the system (Xactly) or equivalent. Deliver related sales training to associates. Engage with Commercial teams, own process timelines and be “Hands on” to ensure timely and accurate payment in APAC regions.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of relevant Variable Compensation experience.
  • Experience in Variable compensation tools: Xactly Incent development / administration.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines. Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and advanced Excel. Process orientated.
