JOB DESCRIPTION
Component Engineer -- Sources, selects, and qualifies components used in the company’s teCNology. Investigates alternate component teCNologies or supplies, reducing cost and improving quality and reliability. Acts as teCNical interface between component/production suppliers and development engineers, determining new and alternate sources. Investigates alternate component teCNologies or supplies for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability, and implements changes. Develops guidelines/procedures on vendor selection. Evaluates supplier change notification and qualifies changes, as needed. May maintain component data management system including qualification records/results/documentation. Education/Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT

U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE
₩107,068,348 - ₩160,602,522This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on
multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work
location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as
you develop within the role.
Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the
Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular
employees working 20+ hours a week).
