We're looking for a Unified Communications Engineer who isn’t just technically skilled, but who brings curiosity, ownership, and a desire to shape the way people work. In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring our global communication ecosystem is reliable, modern, and forward-thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Requires specialized in depth knowledge and expertise in multiple UC technologies to provide innovative solutions, solve complex problems, and influence strategy and process. Interprets internal and external business requirements to recommend best practices. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects.
- Technical SME for 2 or more disciplines/technologies and/or processes, Identify and execute continuous improvement projects for existing systems, Recommend architectural changes as perceived needs arise, Serve as single-technology workgroup lead for operational contractors
- Resolve more complex problem tickets, Identify and resolve problem level tickets, Respond and lead multiple system outages, Support cross functional initiatives as required
- Defines and develops IT project portfolio management compliance KPIs. Coordinates project portfolio reivews, resource planning, and vendor performance reviews.
- Conducts internal/external reviews and audits, collaborating on internal and external expectations. Coordinates resolutions of audit findings.
- Monitors and reports on core IT compliance processes, including project and program management methodology and documentation.
- Manages contingent workers for both project and support Services and project execution. Responsible for timely onboarding, offboarding and renewal of contingent workers and review and approval of contingent workers timesheets. Enforces adherence to compliance processes and procedures.
Functional Knowledge
- Manage and support Microsoft Teams collaboration and voice platform, including Teams Rooms, Teams Phone, and voice integrations
- Troubleshoot and maintain voice infrastructure, including SIP, SBCs, gateways, QoS, and call flow analysis
- Support Crestron, Logitech, and BYOD-based meeting room environments globally
- Provide expert support across major platforms (Zoom, Webex, Google Meet) to ensure compatibility and best practices
- Own monitoring and alerting of UC environments using advance monitoring tools and industry BKM's
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve UC experience and reliability
- Develop documentation and training for IT and end users
- Collaborate with vendors and global teams for rollout and issue resolution

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
10+ years of experience in Unified Communications roles
Deep understanding of Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms, and Teams Phone
Strong knowledge of SIP, SBCs, voice gateways, and enterprise voice design
Experience with meeting room AV solutions (Crestron, Logitech, USB-based & BYOD setups)
Familiarity with UC monitoring tools and root cause analysis
Strong documentation, project, and communication skills
