JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This internship position involves supporting the lead product designer in performing the following tasks:

  • Product Design: Understand the problem statement and overall product user journey and design the screen to reflect the solution
  • Creation and maintenance of design library/guide: Create quick design drafts/mockups/wireframes during discussions to come to a quick outcome
  • Asset Creation and Presentation: Create unique design assets using Astro’s design guidelines to be used for product or presentations. Recording/animation of user journeys for presentations
  • Product Review: Responsible to review and test the product during the development stage. Highlight any UIUX design issues
  • Internal Team Support: Support other team members with any design related matters

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Creative Multimedia, Arts, Science and Technology or equivalent.
  • Passionate about new technology, broadcast & streaming products, and product innovation.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good sense of understanding and responsibility.
  • Able to give full commitment on tasks execution and completion.
  • Able to work with people with different personality and capacity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Must have advanced understanding of standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Figma.
  • Should have a design portfolio of past work that demonstrates UIUX implmenetation.
  • Knowledge in video editing software i.e. Premiere Pro etc is a plus but not necessary.
