Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced UAT Test Manager to lead and coordinate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of IT projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, QA teams, and end users to ensure that the delivered solution meets business requirements and is ready for production deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UAT Planning & Strategy
    • Develop and manage the overall UAT strategy, scope, and approach.
    • Define UAT entry and exit criteria in collaboration with project stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain UAT test plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
    • Liaise with business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment on UAT objectives.
    • Facilitate UAT kick-off meetings, daily stand-ups, and defect triage sessions.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all UAT-related activities.
  • Test Case Management
    • Review and validate test scenarios and test cases prepared by business users.
    • Ensure traceability of test cases to business requirements.
    • Oversee test data preparation and environment readiness.

  • Execution & Monitoring
    • Monitor test execution progress and ensure timely completion of test cycles.
    • Track and manage defects, ensuring resolution and retesting.
    • Provide regular status updates and reporting to project leadership.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that the solution meets business expectations and is fit for purpose.
    • Validate that all critical business processes are tested and approved.
    • Support go/no-go decisions based on UAT outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in UAT coordination or management.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, VAL).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
